Whether you're an employer looking to fill a job opening or a SHRM member looking to find a job, Rogue Valley SHRM is pleased to offer access to its job site for your reference and use.

This page allows employers to post current HR related job openings, and provides candidates a resource as they search for profession-specific jobs.

The Career Center is provided as a service to employers and HR professionals by the SHRM Rogue Valley chapter.  There is currently no fee for a 30 day job posting.

Internships at SOU   

A practicum/internship is a work experience in an on- or off-campus setting for which a student receives academic credit. The School of Business cooperates with many businesses and agencies to provide a wide variety of opportunities that give real-world application of the concepts learned in the classroom. Supervision and mentoring is provided for the student at the place of assignment by a site-designated supervisor. An academic coordinator on campus also supervises the student's progress and serves in a liaison capacity between the experience site and the University.

Seniors and graduate students are eligible for practicum placement. The internship work can be completed during one academic term or across several, depending upon the needs of the student and the cooperating business or agency. Students must work 30 hours for each unit of credit.  Most students enroll for four credits, although in some cases they may enroll for more. Students have repeatedly commented that they found their internship/practicum to be a very rewarding part of their educational experience.

Director of Human Resources

Pathway Enterprises, a not-for-profit, values-based organization based in Ashland, OR serving developmentally disabled adults, is seeking a hands-on HR Director with expertise in all of the functions of HR, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, regulatory compliance, and management coaching/training.  

 

Must have a bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field and three years’ progressively responsible experience managing HR.  May substitute additional experience for degree.  Additionally, must have supervisory experience, solid computer skills, and excellent communication skills.  PHR preferred.
